The Pitch Presentation shows the investment team your personality, how well you know your business, and if you are confident and flexible enough to deal with the challenges faced in the market place.
We regularly get asked about the optimum way to deliver a pitch presentation to MENA Angel Investor. We don’t want to standardize or restrict the creative nature of this critical step although here are some tips we suggest are taken into consideration for this step:
1. A Great Pitch
You are only given 30 minutes to present your business, so you need to be direct to the point yet cover everything important to give us a good glimpse of your business. You should not spend the entire time explaining your idea, but rather go over what makes your business better than its competitors, your future plans, and strategy.
2. A Strong Team
At MENA Angel Investor, we care about the passion of the entrepreneurs we invest in as much as the service or product range. At this early stage, it is critical for startups to have a capable and enthusiastic team committed to take their company to success. We need to see your teammates’ profiles and how they are suitable for the positions they fill.
3. A Clear Strategy
As an entrepreneur you need to have a sense of direction or vision as how to get your business off the ground. We want to know why and how you are going to use the support we will give you. We’d like to see a plan of how you will use our investment in developing, scaling, and critical hiring.
4. Traction Evidence
If your business has already entered a market, we need to see proof of customer traction. Know your numbers well and do not overestimate or underestimate them, as this ruins your credibility. We’d like to know how your market entry went, was there any revenue, or if you are doing any marketing research. This information helps us evaluate your company and will give us an insight on how we can work together to make your company prosper.
5. Growth Potential
For you to be successful in your application there must be a promising market growth potential that we believe in. You need to demonstrate to us that you know your market inside out, and how your tech or service fills a gap or is better than your competitors.
6. Be Honest
